Good health is priceless!

Valley Natural Health has been a cornerstone of downtown Langley since 1964 — one of the first natural food stores in the Fraser Valley, and still going strong over six decades later.

We carry everything you'd expect from a community health food store: vitamins, supplements, natural cosmetics, and cleaning products, alongside a wide selection of natural pantry staples including grains, dried fruits, beans, and pastas. We also carry beverages, frozen foods, and books, and can arrange consultations with a naturopath and blood testing for those seeking more personalized guidance.

But what has always set Valley Natural Health apart isn't the products — it's the relationships. Our approach has never been simply retailer-to-customer. We take the time to listen, to understand your health concerns, and to find real solutions. As our owner Li-Ping Liang puts it: "We are interested in educating our customers so they can help themselves. We want to listen to their health concerns and problems and then do our best to serve them. It's not just about making money, we work from the heart."

That philosophy traces back to our founder, Florence Hogg, who opened Valley Natural Health out of a genuine passion for community wellness. Florence went on to found the Canadian Health League, hosted a radio talk show on nutrition, taught vegetarian cooking classes, and was awarded the CHFA's Woman of the Year in 1989. Her legacy has been carried forward by every owner since — including Dennis Debb, who stewarded the store from 1985 until his retirement in 2003 — and continues today.
